I am writing this on behalf of my 99 year old neighbour. She purchased a new washing machine on 3rd. December 2016. It's not a month old and it isn't working! Hasn't been for a week now! The washing machine is OK but the electrical connection has been badly carried out.
The machine is hard wired, instead of the usual plug and socket, this has not been done correctly. The Lady paid extra for the electrical connection.
I contacted HAVILLS, on her behalf, on Tuesday 27/12, left a message on their answering machine, as they were closed I contacted Bosch direct to arrange a service call out.
At the time, all we were aware of was that the machine didn't work. The appointment was made for Friday 30/12. On Wednesday 26/12 Havills phoned me to say they would send someone round the next day. I told them that it could easily be a problem with the wiring so to be sure they check that as well as the machine. They said everything was ok, although machine not working and to wait for Bosch to call on the Friday.
Bosch guy arrives....finds nothing wrong with the machine...says it's the wiring badly done and needs sorting. Contact HAVILLS...they say they have contacted their Electrician and he will call whenever he can... probably next week!?
This is a 99 year old lady... do they care !? I don't think so! This doesn't rate a one star. You should be ashamed of yourselves HAVILLS!
