Windsor Property Management in Paignton

I have been with several landlords and letting agents in the past and these are the worst by far. Darren Windsor said (and I quote) "I'm only interested in the money".

When I rang them up to tell them about several problems with the flat, Darren just hung up on me. There is mould on the walls, cooking facilities don't work properly or not at all, taps are leaking and the heating doesn't work (and it's winter).

When I came to view the property it was a mess but Darren Windsor said it will be tidied when I move in, however this was never done and the first thing I had to do when I moved in was clean up someone else's mess. I suppose it is cheaper than hiring a cleaner after all Darren did say he was only interested in the money. There is a vile smell of dog urine at the bottom of the stairs which has been there before I moved in. I have spent a lot of money just trying to get rid of it but no luck, the floorboards need replacing.

My advice to anyone who is thinking of renting a property from them is don't. They seem good before you move in but once they have you tied to a contract and have your money they don't want to know about their responsibilities. If you're an hour late with your top up / rent they're straight on your case even though there are problems with the property. I was asked for my top up even though I paid it the day before. I rang Darren and asked him why, he said it was a mistake on his part but this was when I started to tell him about the problems with the flat and he hung up on me and didn't want to know.

So all in all stay away from them and do not rent property from them they only care about the money and not the tenants or the property. This has been echoed by many other tenants of theirs, past and present. when I tell people I have rented a flat from them they say they feel sorry for me, Windsor Estates has a very bad reputation in the area and I've seen why first hand.

Great landlords they look after you as well would rent from them again.
