Golden Acre in Eype, Bridport
Golden Acre
We stayed at Golden Acre Holiday Bungalows for 3 nights. Yes it is dog friendly, so certainly I am being more forgiving in my assessment, with that in mind the kitchen area was clean enough but the furniture was very tired. However, the real problem lies with the mildew on the walls in the bedroom - glad we had to take our own bed linen as if it had been provided don't know if I could of used it. The shower room was very shabby, probably not been updated for 30 years (judging on the colour), the whole room was grotty, yes it had a clean basin and toilet cleaner had been used before our arrival but that didn't disguise the poor condition of the facility. I have tried to look this place up before we booked but can't find it - which maybe that should of made my alarm bells ring. Definitely wont stay here again and would advise others not to.
