Tesco Pharmacy in Highwoods, Colchester

Tesco Highwoods pharmacy must be the worst pharmacy in Colchester. There are always long queues, often just one person serving with other staff swanning about. The whole area needs reorganisation, with possibly one desk for handing in prescriptions and one desk for collecting prescription. Also their system for looking up if prescriptions are ready seems to be out of the ark, they look in so many places to find prescriptions. I appreciate they must have a very large turnaround of prescriptions but they are losing so many Tesco customers who like us, now go elsewhere for our shopping.

Tesco pharmacy are rubbish and incompetent, my son took my prescription in there and checked they had all the medication they said they had so he left the prescription with them, he returned an hour later and they said they were one drug short this being the medication that controls my diabetes, he asked for the prescription back they said they couldn't do that but that they would have the drug today. My son returned today and they either hadn't ordered it or the company had not supplied it, my son asked that they speak to me which they declined to do, I rang them and they gave me excuses why they didn't have the drug and that it would be in tomorrow, I said so are you prepared to take responsibility it anything happens to me again tonight she came up with an option of giving me two tablets for tonight, is it the pharmacist I'm angry with, no it's the useless staff on the front desk who don't check properly. This is not the first time this has happened.
