Tectum Ltd in Debden, Saffron Walden

Tectum Ltd was foisted on us by our insurance company when we moved here a year ago - to check our electrical circuits were compliant prior to insurance being valid. The local manager Charles was difficult to get a response from, giving us conflicting information and dates - even sending the electrician to another person of the same surname at a different address. The Electrician (Donovan) who eventually arrived seemed organised and sensible- did his job properly and gave no cause for concern.
This month we again needed an electrician - quite urgently - to replace electric heaters in guest bedrooms and to wire in a new hot tub. The date was agreed for Donovan to turn up. By 1pm we rang Charles to discover that yet again - he'd forgotten to tell the electrician his jobs for the day. If at all possible - never use this company. However good the tradesmen are, they are constantly let down by the ineptitude and sloping shoulders of their manager, who refuses to accept blame, put the matter right or learn from previous mistakes. A simple tradesman booking calendar would save us all this continual disappointment. Tectum LTD is Limited by Charles' inability to manage the skin off a rice pudding!
