Longmead Riding Centre in Great Bromley, Colchester

I had my horse here for livery and would never recommend anyone to do the same. Fences are broke, stables are run down and all the grief is not worth the trouble. You can't hack out as the main road is too busy! Her horses have a bucket of water in the field but its covered by bramble bushes and looks like a frog would be more at home in there but the horse couldn't get to it. I never saw anything so disgusting in all my life.You go in every day to muck out and every day the owner has an issue, usually how high the muck heap is or what gate to use. I hated every minute of it.. luckily our first choice of livery had someone leaving , so Longmead was temporary thank god. The menage was like riding in postage stamps a drizzle of water and it was waterlogged.
My horse was there 6 weeks and that was 6 weeks too long. The owner and her daughter blamed my partner for hitting her car and causing damage to it, when we asked to see it the car was never there. She said the colour paint was silver and our van is silver with black bumpers, when she saw the bumpers she then said it was black paint! She changed her mind when we told her police would be involved as she is trying to claim money fraudulently! She is a liar and she refused to give back the money.
She moans about the disabled people all the time who ride there saying that they damaged her car... my advice stay away, she tells everyone your buisness. I wouldn't house a rat there!! No stars as the place is a dump.
