M&M Builders started my conservatory & small porch in March 2014,
All started well, but soon work did not happen very often.
Despite numerous phone calls to them, which were never returned, promise’s made but never kept, we are now in our 7th month, with still no sign of getting it completed.

A snagging list for the conservatory was presented on the 10/10/14. A list of jobs not completed on the porch was also included on the snagging list.

Still nothing!!

They were offered the opportunity to complete the work within 10 days, otherwise another company would be employed to complete the snagging list.

They have now refused to complete the job.

Another Conservatory Company had to be employed, and they have done all necessary work.

* The plasterer they employed, despite being told he will not be getting paid, completed the work on the 18/12/14.

In brief:
1) The conservatory doors were non-operational .
Conservatory doors have been messed about with, bits missing and altered bits.
When the bar between the two doors was taken off it revealed that they had 5 attempts ( looked more like Swiss cheese ) to re-fit this bar because of bad fitting. It should never have been altered, as it’s factory set.
2) Side window frame to brickwork >>>bent and not fixed to brickwork
3) Window board was cut to fit a frame that was not straight, 3 days later, the board straightened out at one end, taking the brick work below, with it.
4) Outside window board short, because brickwork was built to the wrong size.
5) Missing corner molding by outside door, only needed because brickwork was built to the wrong size.
6) Gutter leaking at top joint. Down pipe needs extending down to ground level.
7) Making good brickwork that was cut out, where the gutter meets the down pipe, only needed because brickwork was built to the wrong size.
8) Two top roof bars not sitting flush with glass … badly fitted

Porch:
1) Guttering and down pipes to both sides of roof missing.
2) Bottom fascia board of apex, needs replacing as bits missing at both ends
and cut wrong. Missing edge mouldings
3) Door frame to brick work needs finishing.
4) Door fittings should be white ( as order ) not gold.
5) Bottom whether board cut 1” inch short
6) Top of lintel needs plastic board
